Dreams-Reality

Right now my dreams are much the opposite of my reality, but I know everything will be better some day because I have a lot of hope. Sometimes I think I'm crazy for setting too many goals in life, but setting goals has helped me a lot! I really love singing and I'm almost always doing it (even though lately I've had a very sore throat, but that hasn't even stopped me! LOL). Last year there was a song often played on the radio station, K Love, called Hope Now! The lyrics were very inspiring. I had been given so many different opportunities to sing, so I worked on that song. At first, I had some problems staying on time, and I got really frustrated. My first performance didn't go the way I had planned (I had messed up, of course) but no one even noticed! I got a lot of praise and felt so proud of myself! But I still wanted to sing the song without messing up! I worked on it whenever I could, and my brother, Jared helped. Finally, it was time for the school talent show. I was SO nervous! When I got onstage and the music started, no one could hear me singing! Turns out the mic wasnt even on. So I had to start all over, but I didn't even mind, because I was so proud of myself. I didnt mess up! It was a great day and it brought along other opportunities for me!

Even though reality hasn't been great for me, I still have my music and I have hope that things will get better. I hope I can talk to everyone, including Whitney Kelly, about our love for music because thats what I love to talk about!
